Hi Everyone, and welcome back to the blog! It was so great to hear from all of you this week! Thank you for all of the encouraging messages.
Here at Coventry, we are excited to move forward with some ongoing learning at home and will be delivering that through our regular classroom Blogs.
Here at Coventry, we are excited to move forward with some ongoing learning at home and will be delivering that through our regular classroom Blogs.
- You will receive 2 tasks every day, Monday-Thursday (1 Literacy, 1 Numeracy) including instructions/explanations for their completion.
- On "Fun Fridays" I will be sending you a creative challenge which may take the form of a STEM project, a math puzzle or an art activity- we know you will enjoy these!
- Mom/Dad/Grandparent/Siblings: Yes, you can support your Grade 3 student with their learning, just like we do at school... but DON'T DO IT FOR THEM!!
- Once per week, I will be asking you to submit a specific piece of work - this is as easy as taking a picture with your electronic device and emailing it to fanayyar@cbe.ab.ca. Once we get this process going, I am hoping to post various work samples on the blog for students to see each other's work and be inspired!
- Please do not hesitate to reach out to me if you have any questions about learning tasks, or your child requires additional explanation. I will be available (through CBE email) during these "office hours" M-F: 9-11am and 1-3pm.
- And remember, Keep READING, play BOARD GAMES, eat yummy SNACKS, stay safe at HOME and LOOK AFTER EACH OTHER! And... of course, WASH YOUR HANDS!! 👏💦
