Language Arts Tasks:

A reminder of what inferring is and infer emotions from 3 different pictures

Introduce OWI and have students use an OWI chart to make an inference for dog picture

Use an OWI chart to make an inference for the frog and mouse picture

Choose one of the 5 different pictures you have seen and the inferences you have made this week to write a short story about what you think is happening, be creative!

Go on a 2D & 3D shape hunt...

Identifying different 2D shapes

Regular and Irregular Polygons

Make 3D shapes
|
Try to read for 30 minutes a day -
This can be on EPIC, Raz-kids, tumblebooks, or with your favourite
book at home.
Spend some time with your family! Play a board game, go for a
walk, bake a cake or try a new recipe together, or just chat about your day.
Start or continue a journal about your day and this experience. This is a once
in a life-time event, you are going to want to look back at this time.
To share your work with your teacher, you can either take a
picture and email your teacher or you can share it directly from your google
drive (make sure to send it to the educbe.ca account). You could
challenge yourself to make a google slide and share that too.
Your work may be featured on the blog!!! I will be posting some
kid's work each week for everyone to see. If you don’t want your work shared,
just let your me know :)
** This will be the assignment that I will
assess this week.
